Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and optimizing organizational efficiency to enhance client satisfaction and improve overall outcomes.
Desiree’s journey in healthcare began as a Home Health Aide, with a passion for serving others and a dedication to making a positive impact in people’s lives. Over the years, she continued her education, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and continuing to receive a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management. Through her education and experiences in health care, she has honed her skills in strategic planning, team leadership, and operational excellence allowing her to drive significant improvements in various healthcare settings.
In her previous roles, Desiree has successfully overseen regulatory standards to ensure compliance, optimizing resource utilization, and implementing best practices to enhance patient care delivery. She has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
As Director of Operations at Guardian Home Care of NH, Desiree is committed to driving innovation and excellence in every aspect of our operations. She works closely with the team to streamline processes, enhance service delivery, and exceed the expectations of our clients and their families. Outside of work and her professional life, Desiree cherishes spending quality time with her spouse and their two children. They enjoy camping adventures in the White Mountains in the Spring and Fall, while Summers are often spent at their family lake house or at the beach.

As the Director of Patient Relations at Guardian Home Care of NH, Sheila Kimani brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate heart to her role. With a background as a Case Manager for the Medicaid CFI (Choices for Independence) program, Sheila gained invaluable knowledge of the CFI program, which remains a primary focus for Guardian Home Care of NH.
Sheila is a dedicated advocate for keeping patients where they belong – at home, surrounded by comfort, care, and love provided by their loved ones through the CFI Family Caregiver program or by Personal Care Service Provider and Home Health Aides hired by Guardian Home Care of NH. Sheila's goal is to make this vision a reality for all the patients of Guardian Home Care of NH.
In the past, Sheila served as a PCA and Home Health Aide, where she witnessed firsthand the importance of compassionate care in the home setting. This experience fuels her commitment to ensuring that every patient feels valued, supported, and empowered in their journey towards getting the care and support in their own homes.
Beyond her professional day to day, Sheila finds joy in simple pleasures like watching Formula 1 races during the weekends and cherishing quality time with her family and friends.
